Alternatively, you can choose not to decap, but to grab your opponent and use his bodyparts as a fulcrum. Like this shoulder throw.

We’re fans of fighting games here at Nabi and we’ve seen game after game stick with the same old “push button + control sequence” = “fight combo”..

We tried to introduce a new style of fighting with Toribash PC and we’re proud that we have an active, hardcore community today constantly making new fight moves and fight scenes and sharing them daily on our forums.

Toribash (WiiWare) puts into play everything that we learnt about controls and scene editing.

Seven months ago (July 21, 2008) the forums reached half million posts.  Not bad for a community revolving around one game isn’t it.  Most of it were raving rants about cheaters, farmers and “can I borrow credits” and the multitude of internet memes… but in any case, for a game you can fit on a travel sized USB disk, the game forums is pretty popular and active.

And what post about statistics is complete without visual aid(s) eh?  Plotting the growth in a crudely made chart with three data points…

And extrapolating the data… calculating percentage of error, using satellite data and forecasting by eye, you can see that my prediction says that we may be hitting a million posts after valentines day.  Pretty sweet.  Drakhir had garnered the 500,000th post last July and got himself a (nearly) endless supply of credits for his trouble.

I wonder what the millionth poster will get?  Exclusive items?  A personal ingame entourage?  An interview with a magazine?  A foot massage from the player of his choosing?  Who knows… all I can say is good job Toribash for both nurturing a great game, and a community to boot.
