As most of you people probably do not know the true value of the currency we all know as Toricredits is influenced by certain circumstances within and even outside the toribash community.

One toricredit is definitely not always worth one toricredit and I tell you why.

The amount of active toricredits possessed by users who are willing to exchange them for the useless junk they all believe to need is one and probably the most important variable to determine the true value of 1 toricredit. One does determine the value by comparing them with other currencies. For instance in winter 2010 there were ridiculous amounts of usermade toricredit shops selling up to 21,000 toricredits per 1 USD. Thus the value of 1 Tc was 4.76190476 × 10^-5 USD back then.

Due to the great efforts of the brave Toribash administration the amount of active toricredits could be significantly reduced by installing a fancy little game called the double it button. The chance of losing all your money was very high and with each attempt the chance of losing grew extensively.

Of course the smart pants of the community were not aware of the risks due to the silly assumption that the chance of either winning or losing would always be 50%. They happily clicked the button and henceforth could be used as metaphor for the famous lemmings jumping of a cliff.

On that way the value of toricredits could be boosted to the current price of around 9.09090909 × 10^-5 USD per 1 Tc. That is 11,000 Tc per USD, almost twice as much as a couple of months ago!

The Marketsquad is still successfully trying to sink the toricredit to keep the value of toricredits constant. They are selling ridiculously overpriced junk to rich tools who are willing to waste their money on stuff they believe to need.

And that is a GOOD thing. Imagine every person on this planet would have a septillion Us Dollars.

That would skyrocket prices everywhere, you’d most likely need to pay 10 trillion bucks for a nice suspicious looking tunasandwich from that foreign guy at the corner! With any other currency you could live like a Rockefeller, for , say, 20 euros you could buy yourself a bunch of slaves to pamper you butt day and night.

Imagining that happen in our nice little game, new members of the toribash community would have little to no chances to get some decent items without spending real money or working their ass off to gain some toricredits.

All hail the Torishopadmins for protecting the luckily not so free market of toribash.
