There have been a few new exciting things this month! The first big thing is the Toribash Lottery. So far there have been four items raffled off and there is currently a fifth, all new item up for grabs. The first four were Icon Texture, Hunter Force, Void Relax, and Full Void Unpacked. Currently there is a new item the “Custom Item”. We have yet to see the price but it is basically a custom collectors item. Another new thing is that the Marketeers have been revived by Fee. They are selling a wide ranged of High-Qi Items for a very expensive price, but there is no Qi-Limit on these items. Save up for these new exciting events!
Spacellama was recently promoted to GameMaster, Congratulations Spacellama!
Dalliance was recently promoted to Market Squad, Congratulations Dalliance!
Clan-Events have been created. This is an interesting system where an entire clan participates in an event to win money for their clan bank.
So get out there and see whats new!

This is Bloob’s first blog entry, everyone welcome him to the bloggers.

Has it come to anyone’s attention that there has been a large spike in the amount of trolls, clan invaders, mass-alt makers and very ill-knowledged members in general?

I am almost positive that it has. Now, we don’t expect all new members to be properly educated on forum knowledge, but using your common sense (seeing as some people apparently don’t have any) just doesn’t seem to be cutting it anymore.

Someone needs to help fix this! Of course, there once was a time when there were visible rules, which enlightened those who noticed.

These rules were made in a tutorial made by ronalds, however now the links are broken, seeing as there are no longer rules for each board, and ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE(at a bit of a smaller measure). Anyways, if you wish to be the one known forever with the glory of providing the forum rules, please consider making an informational thread to help learn the novices, refine the trolls and possibly keep new Toribash members from headlining on the Community Ban list, please feel free to make the thread in the Tutorials section.

This is the first blog entry of our most recent staff member, Muur.

And urgently too. If you haven’t seen already, we need more bloggers to write for the blog.

The job of the bloggers is sort of behind the curtain but it is a good opportunity to get your thoughts and opinions out there. Now you might think, “But how much is there to blog about in Toribash?”. Well, good you asked. Everything! Blogging doesn’t just have to be, “New Smods Rarara”. Blogging can come down to writing about new official clans or an upcoming event.You can even write about a good replay you saw.

So you want to be a blogger? Your best bet would be to send Sid or myself an example of a blog you have written. (Previous experience helps but isn’t necessary) We need active and energetic people, capable of blogging regularly. If you think you have what it takes, you know what to do.

Concluding, a laid back job, expressing your opinions. You choose your own hours! Work from home and don’t change your lifestyle. Only last thing I can say; Go apply now!

Just after the recent release of the No Qi Item Lottery comes a new market perk. The No Qi Item Sales are back.

Good news! The Market Squad have once again decided to give users the opportunity to purchase items without the limitation of Qi. If you don’t fancy risking losing tc on lottery tickets, this is perfect for you!~Fee

The idea is that people who have little qi but lots of tc can buy items that would generally have high qi restrictions without needing to have the required amount. Items range from full pure and full void to elf timers and demon relaxes. This is great for those users in the community who don’t wish to risk away all their tc on lotteries. Whatever you want to go for, do so quickly. These items won’t hang around!

The staff of Toribash have decided to add an exciting new feature to the ToriShop. It is the no qi lottery.

200 tickets will be sold for the chance to win rare no qi packs and items such as pure, demon and void. The tickets will go on sale for 10k tc each and tickets are limited to 2 per user. So if you buy 2 you will have a 1% chance in this first draw. Tickets aren’t on sale yet as to give warning and a fair chance for all users. So be on the lookout!

There are a number of no qi packs out there but these are extremely rare and expensive. Hopefully this will be an exciting event and an effective tc sink at the same time.

Make sure you stay alert, these tickets will sell like hunter forces on a restock!

Well the wait is over. The new GameMasters for Toribash have been decided. In a post earlier today, Huck announced the new additions to the Gm team in Shin-Ryuu’s absence.

Apps opened two weeks ago and have been accepted for one week. So after a long wait, there was much tension within the community as applicants waited, hoping for a speedy result.

Seven new additions to the team were selected bringing the total GameMaster population up to 18 members. With so many I can assure you that there will be a sharp increase in in-game betting, tourney and hot seat servers. So be on the lookout to win some prizes and have some fun.

Heard enough of me? Good. The new Gms entrusted with responsibilities of entertainment and In-game rule upholding are Boonana, Erth, Fcpaveo, Spacellama, Thrandir, XaruS and Yoyo.
