veb’s been slaving over code for the past few days to improve how we trade on Toribash. The time he spent clearly hasn’t been wasted. This brand spankin’ new feature allows members to set up trades in real-time. If you don’t like what is going to be sent to you, you can cancel the trade. If you don’t agree on the terms, it doesn’t take place. This is going to prevent a lot of scams and mishaps, try it out!

In the most recent alpha, we have a few new features to enhance our item buying and selling experience.
The new flame browser allows you to preview any flame by any user, making it easier to buy, sell, and test flames.
Also check out the revamped dealfinder, which allows you to search items specifically by item name, rather then the old way.

I’ve been perusing YouTube and I haven’t seen many innovative Toribash videos recently. That’s about to change though, hopefully. One of our staff members is whipping up perhaps one of the biggest videos ever made, with over 80 individuals featured. He’s asking anyone and everyone to submit replays. So many replays that he may have to look for external means of storage to keep it all in once place. We encourage you to visit the thread and submit a replay of your own, and possibly be featured in one of the biggest Toribash videos to date!

It seems like every time I check up to see what hampa is doing he’s got some new treat to show off. The flavor of the week is Toribash HD. Everyone drooled over the epic 512×512 head textures due to their far superior detail. We’d have liked to put out entire sets of 512×512 textures, but up until now there’s been a problem with compression support for the files. That’s recently been resolved and I proudly present to you the first screenshots of the ridiculously detailed 512×512 texture feature. Coming soon to the Torishop!

There’s been a recent an influx of reported scams related to account sales. The staff is happy to help you with anything you may lose in day-to-day trading and auctioning, but it has been decided that we will not be assisting in account sales gone sour as of the 16th of April.

The Market section will not host account or Tori-prime sales anymore. If you decide to go behind our respective backs and attempt to sell either of these, we will not assist you if you lose anything in the process. Sorry, but we do not provide endless support for purchased accounts. We simply do not have the time to deal with a problem this widespread when there’s an easy way to prevent it. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION.
