3.0 Teaser trailer
A Toribash 3.0 trailer leaked the other day. It shows the progress of our upgrade of the graphics engine. This is all ingame, I play some multiplayer in the beginning of the clip.
A graphics card that support shaders 2.0 should be enough to run most of the gloss in it.
Behind the editing of the trailer was Nokturnal as usual.

Does that mean that Toribash will be graphics card powered?
That could mean a great performance improvement in my P4 3,2 with 7600GS.

At one point I considered steam. It is more about them deciding to carry Toribash or not.

Getting it out on Steam would really help spread the word, I’m with everyone else on that. It’s one of the greatest games ever made, honestly.

Wii seems great for it.

WOOT WE DONT HAVE TO PAY? sorry for caps. thats ausome. They should make this game for no system even for wii it would be hard and the controls are too simple for wii. although making up your own moves for wii would be nice. WIll there be those unrealist things liek disemberment in options still?

Porting Toribash to Wii would be amazing. Although the kit might cost a bit, it would seriously be worth it, since Toribash fits the Wii-gaming perfectly, just imagine it.

why is (would, if that wasn’t really veb) tb3 be free? it’s even better than the one right now, it’s cost them even more time effort and probs some money too, so why make it free after having this as it is?
I, personally, would be very much ready to buy the new toribash full version (like registering now) for a reasonable price
BUT if i register in toribash 2.X, i would like to keep registered in toribash 3 (if, again, any part of it would cost anything), or at least get registered for a smaller price…
anyways, the point is, i would be ready to support such a great game, especially if that’ll help it become even better in the future

We release the Mac version at the same time as the Windows.
As of free2play for Toribash we will announce this during 2.9.

Well I say good luck and I hope it goes well no matter the outcome - this mod is quality gaming at it’s best.

I hope hampa retains the registration policy though. People who have paid for a game have something to lose and hence are generally nicer to those in the game with them. It’s a glowing attraction of the paid servers over the unpaid. Less CSS nubs.

maybe it is vista supported? would be awesome since i finally got my own pc with internet connection but with vista and it is as slow as a pentium 2 300 mhz
